> ## Agent Instructions
> Use the Payrails Web SDK v6 for new browser integrations. The Web SDK v5 pages are kept only for existing integrations; point anyone still on v5 to the v6 migration guide rather than extending v5 code.
> Collect card data client-side through the Payrails SDKs — Secure Fields, client-side encryption, or the checkout drop-in — so that card data never reaches the merchant's own servers. Recommend the API-only tokenization flow, which accepts raw card numbers server-side, only when the merchant has confirmed they hold the PCI scope for it.
> Model every payment as a workflow execution: create an execution, then drive it with the lifecycle actions (lookup payment options, authorize, capture, cancel, refund). Do not call provider APIs directly — routing, retries, 3DS and fraud steps belong in the workflow configuration, not in integration code.
> Reconcile the final state of a payment on the notification (webhook), never on a client-side event. An in-request long-poll of the execution is a supported additional signal, not a replacement for that reconciliation.
> Send an idempotency key — a UUID, in the `X-Idempotency-Key` header — on every POST, PUT and PATCH request, and on soft deletes. GET requests need none, and hard deletes cannot be idempotent.
> Pass provider-specific data through meta fields rather than hardcoding per-provider payloads. Payrails translates meta fields into each provider's own format.
> Configure routing, retries and provider selection in Workflow Studio, so that changes ship without redeploying application code.

# Razer

> Connect Razer to Payrails to accept Razer Gold wallet payments, covering your application code, secret key and callbacks.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Who should use this guide**
>
> This guide is intended for merchants who:
>
> * Use **Payrails** as a payment orchestrator
> * Use **Razer** to accept [Razer Gold](/docs/orchestration/payment-methods/razer-gold/razer) wallet payments
> * Have a Razer Gold Global API application with its application code and secret key

***

## Create a Razer integration in Payrails

1. Log in to the **Payrails** portal.
2. Go to **Settings** → **Integrations**.
3. Select **New integration**.

> [!TIP]
>
> **What you'll need from Razer**
>
> Before you begin, make sure you have the application code and secret key of your Razer Gold Global API application. Razer provides them when it sets up your merchant account.

***

## Step 1: Choose the provider

* Search for **Razer** and select it.
* Select **Next step**.

![A screenshot showing Razer selected as the provider.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-01.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=b4f4e6310c9590ed70846d70dfae5e45)

***

## Step 2: Enter basic information

**In Payrails**

* **Integration type**: keep **Payment** selected.
* **Integration name**: enter a clear, consistent name, for example `merchant_razer`. Routing uses this name, so include the region or environment when you run more than one Razer integration.
* **Workspaces**: select the workspaces where this integration should be available.
* Select **Next step**.

![A screenshot showing the Razer basic information step with integration type, name and workspaces.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-02.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=090b0257f120cba03956b27602423b3a)

> [!NOTE]
>
> **About workspaces**
>
> Workspaces determine where this integration is available. They let you isolate provider setups by region or business line, or share the same configuration across multiple workspaces.

***

## Step 3: Enter account information

### Razer account details and API credentials

**In Payrails**

| Field | Value |
| :- | :- |
| **Application Code** | Your Razer Gold Global API application code. Payrails sends it with every request. |
| **Secret Key** | Your Razer Gold Global API secret key. Payrails signs every request with it and checks the signature on every response and callback. |

Payrails sends requests to the Razer sandbox in test mode and to the live environment in live mode, so use the application code and secret key for the matching environment.

![A screenshot showing the Razer application code and secret key fields.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-03.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=b3aa6c63324e42eec576fef7548d4e1b)

**In Razer**

* Ask Razer to allowlist the Payrails IP addresses for your environment. Razer accepts API calls only from allowlisted IP addresses.

### Webhook

> [!NOTE]
>
> Payrails uses provider webhooks or notifications to receive asynchronous
> payment status updates.

The **Webhook** section shows the **Notification URL** for this integration. Payrails sends this URL to Razer as the callback URL with every payment, and Razer uses it instead of the callback URL in the Razer merchant console, so you don't need to set it up in Razer.

![A screenshot showing the Razer webhook section with the notification URL label.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-04.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=8d8f4d27eef35637bdaaac2ea50d59cd)

Razer sends a signed result to this URL when the payment completes. Payrails checks the signature before it updates the payment.

* Select **Next step**.

***

## Step 4: Select payment methods

**In Payrails**

* Select **Razer Gold**.
* Select **Next step**.

![A screenshot showing the Razer payment methods step with Razer Gold selected.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-05.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=cf108aab7c18d79cd0630c9d76d17401)

**In Razer**

* Ask Razer to enable the Razer Gold wallet channel on your application. Refer to [Razer Gold via Razer](/docs/orchestration/payment-methods/razer-gold/razer).

***

## Step 5: Add additional data

**In Payrails**

* Optional. Select **Add field** to add key-value pairs to the integration. Payrails doesn't use them to process Razer payments.

![A screenshot showing the Razer additional data step with the Add field button.](https://mintcdn.com/payrails-42074109/7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk/images/docs/razer-image-06.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=7gd9Cs9G8SZOuzSk\&q=85\&s=1d82f3666aa89b3e4dc831235e95bc5e)

***

## Request fields for Razer

Send these fields in the [authorize request](/reference/authorizeaction), in addition to the standard authorize fields. **Required** fields must be present for the payment to succeed. Payrails sends **Optional** fields to Razer when you include them. For more about meta fields, refer to [Meta fields](/docs/orchestration/meta-fields).

| Field | Status | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `amount.value` | Required | Sent to Razer as `amount`, in minor units. |
| `amount.currency` | Required | Sent to Razer as `currencyCode`. |
| `holderReference` | Required | Your reference for the customer, up to 50 alphanumeric characters. Sent to Razer as `customerId`. |
| `meta.order.description` | Optional | Sent to Razer as `description`. Payrails sends the first 255 characters. |

For every parameter Payrails sends to Razer, refer to the [field mapping](/docs/orchestration/payment-methods/razer-gold/razer#field-mapping).

***

## Enable the integration

**In Payrails**

* Select **Enable integration**.
* Confirm the integration shows as **Enabled** under **Current integrations**.

Your **Razer** integration is now ready to process payments.

***

## Next steps

1. Run a test Razer Gold payment against the Razer sandbox.
2. Verify that:
   * The payment appears in the Razer merchant console.
   * The payment status updates correctly in Payrails.
3. Once verified in test mode, repeat the setup with your live application.
