Meeza Wallet lets customers in Egypt pay from a mobile wallet on the Meeza network. Payrails processes Meeza Wallet through Paymob as the payment service provider (PSP).

How a Meeza Wallet payment works

Meeza Wallet is a hosted payment page (HPP) method:
  1. The customer selects Meeza Wallet at checkout.
  2. Payrails creates a payment intention with Paymob and returns a redirect URL to the Paymob checkout page.
  3. The customer confirms the payment from their mobile wallet on the Paymob page.
  4. Paymob sends the customer back to your returnInfo URL.
  5. Payrails receives the final result from the Paymob notification and updates the payment.
Each payment is single-use: the customer confirms every payment on its own. Payrails captures Meeza Wallet payments immediately, so a successful payment is final.

Supported currencies and countries

Meeza Wallet supports EGP (Egyptian pound) as its only presentment currency.

Integrate Meeza Wallet

Choose the PSP that processes Meeza Wallet for you. The guide covers the PSP-side setup, the Payrails configuration and the request fields that PSP requires.

Ways to integrate Meeza Wallet

  • Payrails SDK: the Web SDK shows Meeza Wallet when your workflow returns it as a payment option.
  • Payrails API: call lookup payment options, then authorize with meezaWallet as the paymentMethodCode. The PSP guide lists the meta fields that PSP requires.
In both cases, confirm the final result through webhook notifications or the execution status.
