YKB WorldPay is the digital wallet of Yapı Kredi Bank in Türkiye. Customers pay in the WorldPay app, by scanning a QR code or following a link that opens the app, without entering card details at checkout. Payrails processes YKB WorldPay through one payment service provider (PSP): Craftgate. Open the Craftgate guide below for its setup steps and request examples.

How a YKB WorldPay payment works

YKB WorldPay is a redirect payment method:
  1. The customer selects YKB WorldPay at checkout.
  2. Payrails returns the next step from Craftgate: a page with a QR code, or a link that opens the WorldPay app.
  3. The customer scans the QR code or opens the app, and approves the payment in the WorldPay app.
  4. Craftgate sends the result back to Payrails, and Payrails updates the payment.
Each payment is single-use: the customer approves every payment on its own. Payrails captures YKB WorldPay payments immediately, so a successful payment is final. To return funds, refund the payment.

Supported currencies and countries

YKB WorldPay is a domestic payment method in Türkiye. Use TRY (Turkish lira).

Integrate YKB WorldPay

Choose the PSP that processes YKB WorldPay for you. The guide covers the PSP-side setup, the Payrails configuration and the request fields that PSP requires.

Check PSPs

YKB WorldPay is a one-off payment method: Craftgate doesn’t save a YKB WorldPay instrument for later merchant-initiated transactions (MIT).

Ways to integrate YKB WorldPay

  • Payrails SDK: the Web SDK shows YKB WorldPay when your workflow returns it as a payment option, and takes the customer to the QR code page or the WorldPay app. To control how this opens, listen for the actionRequired event.
  • Payrails API: call lookup payment options, then authorize with ykbWorldPay as the paymentMethodCode. The Craftgate guide explains how to handle the response.
In both cases, confirm the final result through webhook notifications or the execution status before you fulfill the order.
