Accept Touch ‘n Go payments from customers in Malaysia with Checkout.com as the payment service provider (PSP). The customer selects Touch ‘n Go, confirms the payment in Touch ‘n Go, and returns to your site.

Supported workflows

Before you begin

Complete these steps before you send your first Touch ‘n Go payment through Checkout.com:
  1. Set up a Checkout.com integration in your workspace. Follow the Checkout.com integration setup guide if you don’t have one yet.
  2. Ask Checkout.com to enable Alipay+ and Touch ‘n Go on your Checkout.com processing channel.
  3. In the Payrails Portal, go to Settings → Integrations, open your Checkout.com integration, select Touch ‘n Go under Payment methods, and save.
  4. Add Touch ‘n Go as a payment option in your workflow.

Request fields for Checkout.com

Send these fields in the authorize request, in addition to the standard authorize fields. Payrails checks Required fields and returns an error when one is missing. Fields required by the PSP pass the Payrails checks but the PSP can decline the payment without them.

Authorize a Touch ‘n Go payment

Call authorize a payment with touchNGo as the paymentMethodCode. The response includes the redirect to Touch ‘n Go.
Authorize request
After the customer confirms the payment, Touch ‘n Go returns them to your success or error URL. Confirm the result through webhook notifications or the execution status before you fulfill the order.

How Checkout.com handles Touch ‘n Go

  • Checkout.com processes Touch ‘n Go through the Alipay+ network. Payrails creates a payment setup at Checkout.com and confirms it for Touch ‘n Go. The confirmation returns the redirect to Touch ‘n Go.
  • Touch ‘n Go through Checkout.com is an app-based wallet payment, so every request needs the customer’s mobile operating system in meta.clientContext.osType.
  • Payrails sends only order lines of type lineItem, or lines with no type. It skips tax, discount and shipping lines, and lines with no unit price or a zero quantity.
  • If Checkout.com reports that Touch ‘n Go isn’t ready on your processing channel, the payment fails before Payrails redirects the customer.
