Who should use this guideThis guide is intended for merchants who:
  • Use Payrails as a payment orchestrator
  • Use Razer to accept Razer Gold wallet payments
  • Have a Razer Gold Global API application with its application code and secret key

Create a Razer integration in Payrails

  1. Log in to the Payrails portal.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Select New integration.
What you’ll need from RazerBefore you begin, make sure you have the application code and secret key of your Razer Gold Global API application. Razer provides them when it sets up your merchant account.

Step 1: Choose the provider

  • Search for Razer and select it.
  • Select Next step.

Step 2: Enter basic information

In Payrails
  • Integration type: keep Payment selected.
  • Integration name: enter a clear, consistent name, for example merchant_razer. Routing uses this name, so include the region or environment when you run more than one Razer integration.
  • Workspaces: select the workspaces where this integration should be available.
  • Select Next step.

About workspacesWorkspaces determine where this integration is available. They let you isolate provider setups by region or business line, or share the same configuration across multiple workspaces.

Step 3: Enter account information

Razer account details and API credentials

In Payrails Payrails sends requests to the Razer sandbox in test mode and to the live environment in live mode, so use the application code and secret key for the matching environment. A screenshot showing the Razer application code and secret key fields. In Razer
  • Ask Razer to allowlist the Payrails IP addresses for your environment. Razer accepts API calls only from allowlisted IP addresses.

Webhook

Payrails uses provider webhooks or notifications to receive asynchronous payment status updates.
The Webhook section shows the Notification URL for this integration. Payrails sends this URL to Razer as the callback URL with every payment, and Razer uses it instead of the callback URL in the Razer merchant console, so you don’t need to set it up in Razer. A screenshot showing the Razer webhook section with the notification URL label. Razer sends a signed result to this URL when the payment completes. Payrails checks the signature before it updates the payment.
  • Select Next step.

Step 4: Select payment methods

In Payrails
  • Select Razer Gold.
  • Select Next step.

  • Ask Razer to enable the Razer Gold wallet channel on your application. Refer to Razer Gold via Razer.

Step 5: Add additional data

In Payrails
  • Optional. Select Add field to add key-value pairs to the integration. Payrails doesn’t use them to process Razer payments.

Request fields for Razer

Send these fields in the authorize request, in addition to the standard authorize fields. Required fields must be present for the payment to succeed. Payrails sends Optional fields to Razer when you include them. For more about meta fields, refer to Meta fields. For every parameter Payrails sends to Razer, refer to the field mapping.

Enable the integration

In Payrails
  • Select Enable integration.
  • Confirm the integration shows as Enabled under Current integrations.
Your Razer integration is now ready to process payments.

Next steps

  1. Run a test Razer Gold payment against the Razer sandbox.
  2. Verify that:
    • The payment appears in the Razer merchant console.
    • The payment status updates correctly in Payrails.
  3. Once verified in test mode, repeat the setup with your live application.
